About This Experience

*This workshop offers a 1.5 hour long instructor led candle making workshop. Book a seat at one of our class times and follow along with the instructor as you customize your very own Wallflower Candle. 

Perfect for birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties, date night, and more! Join us at our flagship location in Downtown Cape Coral for experience you won't forget! You and your friends will choose your favorite vessel and oil blends before being led through each step of the candle pouring process by one of our expert candle makers.

We also have a bar serving an assortment of seltzers, wine, beer, and coffee! 

Things To Keep In Mind

- $45 covers the entire pouring process.

- Candles will be ready to take home with you depending on vessel size. You can always leave it to sit over night and pick up next day. We can also ship your candle for $10.

- For safety purposes, outside food is not allowed permitted in the workshop space. If you'd like to rent our space for a private event and bring food, gifts, etc, please email or call us. 

- Classes start promptly at their scheduled time. Please be sure to arrive about 10 minutes before your class time. In order to create an amazing experience for all scheduled guests, late attendees may be denied entrance into candle pouring classes. If you don't appear for your reservation or cancel within 48 hours of the reservation time your appointment is non-refundable.

- Age requirements: because our candle pouring workshops include handling hot wax and oils, children must be 5 years and older to participate. Anyone under 18 must have a guardian present to sign their waiver. Additionally, children under 5 are not permitted in the workshop space. Safety first!

What To Do While You Wait for your candle

Our candles can take a few hours to cool, so check out some of our amazing neighborhood spots while you wait for your candle to be ready!

Cancellation policy :

To receive a refund for your workshop, you must cancel 48 hours before the workshop. You can reschedule 24 hours before your scheduled time slot. If you do not show up, you will not be refunded or be able to change the date.

Materials

  • Handmade Concrete Vessel - Each concrete vessel is handmade in house with a sand based pure concrete and sealed with water based food grade sealant for longevity.
  • Coconut Soy Wax - Coconut soy wax blend, biodegradable glitter, crackling wooden wick, assortment of small crystals, and 100% pure essential oils.
  • Wood Candle Wick is made of high quality natural wooden material for safe use; Eco-friendly, without black smoke but easily burn.They are long lasting, but can be temperamental for your first burn. It will take a couple of tries to get it lit the first time.

Care information

  • First Burn — When you are starting your first candle burn, make sure you leave enough time to let your candle burn for at least up to two hours, depending on the size of your candle.
  • Allow pool of wax to extend to the outside rim of the jar to set its "memory." Each time you burn the candle, it will "remember" to burn out to the rim. 

Rule of thumb: Burn one hour for every inch of your candle's diameter.

  • Soy wax loves to tunnel creating a literal wax tunnel in your candle. The wax will stick to the sides of your glass if you only light it for a short amount of time. 
  • When you start with a long burn you’re allowing your wax to melt evenly, therefore setting your candle up for future successful burns. 
  • Burn candles on a protective, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
